Race Day Style with PrettyLittleThing*

Hi Everyone!

*This post is a non-paid collaboration with PrettyLittleThing whereby all mentioned items have been gifted. As always all opinions are my own.

I was recently contacted by PrettyLittleThing asking if I would like to participate in their Race Day Campaign. Of course I jumped at the opportunity because I love PLT!

I have put together three outfits from PLT which will hopefully give you some inspiration for your next dressy night out. I'm usually the kind of person who doesn't get too dressed up and prefers the comfy life. The dresses which I have chosen to style are all super comfortable and definitely something that I would wear if I had to get dressed up for Race Day or any other occasion which requires nice dresses and heels.

The first dress which I chose is this Emerald Green Silky Wrap Cuff Detail Shift Dress which is currently on sale for 24! I also got this dress in a different colour which you will see later on in this post. The silky material of this dress makes it very comfortable and flowy. There is a tie which allows you to tie it at the waist for a more flattering look. I'm obsessed with this colour! I usually tend to order black dresses because I feel most comfortable in those but I was stepping out of my comfort zone here and decided to go for a bit of colour!
I feel like gold accessories and gold heels would look amazing with this emerald green colour.

The second dress which I chose is this Red Frill Detail Pleated Skater Dress which is currently  €50 on the website. It's also available in seven other colours! Again, this is a colour which I wouldn't usually go for, but I wanted to try something new. I love the frill detail that the dress has. The pleated skirt is also something that I'm new to and never tried on before. This dress would also look nice with a bralet underneath. I paired mine with a black bag which I will talk about more later and black heels (but you can't see those because of my terrible photography haha). This red colour is giving me serious Valentine's Day vibes! The second dress which I chose is this

The last dress which I decided to style is this White Silky Wrap Cuff Detail Shift Dress.
This is the exact same dress as the first one which I mentioned, but its in white. It is currently €40 on the website and is available in many different colours. This is the first white dress that I own! I feel like it would be perfect for summer occasions because of its colour. I paired mine with a black bralet to give it some contrast, a colourful bralet might look nice too! The dress is a little see through on top but the bottom half of the dress isn't at all due to it's extra lining. Again, I added some black accessories to my outfit but the colour options are endless, since everything goes with white.

The bag which features in some of these photos is the Black Marabou Feather Clutch Bag
This bag is currently €35 on the PLT website. It's also available in different colours. This is the softest bag ever and no doubt everyone on the night out will want to touch it!

I'm aware you can't see what shoes I'm wearing in most of these photos but the heels I chose to wear with some of the dresses are there Nude Feather Strap Lace-up Block Heels.
These gorgeous heels are currently €35 on the website. They also come in black! I love the feather and lace-up detail.

I hope you enjoyed today's post! I would love to hear which dress is your favourite and what are your go to outfits for a 'dressy up' occasion?

Have a lovely day!

  1. I loooove the red dress! It's the perfect cocktail dress. Ruffles are really feminine and add such a nice detail to a monochrome dress :) Thank you for sharing how you styled these outfits!
