Favourites of 2014

Hi everyone!

Today I thought that I would share with you my personal favourites of 2014.
I have seen a lot of blog posts and YouTube videos about people's favourites, so I decided to talk about mine today.
I have some make up and beauty products to talk about.
Without making this post really long, lets jump right into it!

Make up

This is a Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in the shade 201 classic beige.
I have used this foundation all throughout the year and it works very well for me. It's a light to medium coverage foundation. It also has SPF 18 which was also a plus for me during the summer months. In my opinion its a great drug store foundation and its the one that I will definitely re-purchase again.

This is a Benefit CORALista blush. It's in a warm coral-pink shade with a little sparkle which gives your face a lovely glow. It goes well with many different skin tones. Also, if you have smelled it before you know that it smells delightful! It's a little more pricey than most blushes but I guarantee you that it is extremely worth a try.

Lip balm

This is a Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia. I found this to be the best lip balm I have ever used. It instantly moisturises and nourishes your lips. The reason that I like it so much is probably because of it's scent and taste! You've got to smell this! There are also many more scents to choose from if you're not a vanilla lover. Another good thing about it is that its very cheap.

Eye brows

This is a Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in the shade Love is Blonde. This has to be the best eye brow product I have tried. If you're like me and you love filling in your brows, then you must try this product out. It's super fast and easy to use and it gives great results. It might be slightly pricey for an eye brow pencil but trust me, its worth it. Over all it makes your brows look natural and it stays on all day without the need of setting it with a brow gel.

Eye shadows

These are two of my most used eye shadows on a daily basis. They are MAC eye shadows in the shades Mythology (gold) and Embark (brown). These are both highly-pigmented. They apply evenly and blend very well. I imagine that they would look nice on many different skin tones.

Nail polish

These are two of my favourite nail polish shades.
They are the Barry M nail polishes.
Matte in Crush and Gelly Hi Shine in Dragon. These are gorgeous colours which I used all throughout the year. The pink Gelly Hi Shine one provides an extra glossy finish. The burgundy Matte one dries super fast and is great on the go and if you're in a rush. Both of these stay on for at least 5 days without chipping. I would highly recommend these.

This is a Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Perfume. This is my favourite scent, it smells delightful and super fresh. I love the bottle, it looks super cute and classy at the same time. I have used this perfume for most of the year and I will be definitely re-purchasing it when I run out of it. I dare you to go and smell it in the shop, I guarantee that you will fall in love with it!

Skin care

This is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. As soon as I discovered this product and started using it I fell in love with it. It's super gentle, it cleanses and removes make up super fast. It doesn't have a scent and it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals which is a huge plus. I will definitely be re-purchasing this again and again.

These are all of my favourite make up and beauty products of 2014. I hope you enjoyed reading today's post and maybe you will try some of my favourites yourself. Let me know what you think of some of these products I have mentioned and feel free to leave some of your own suggestions & favourites.

I will be writing another post on my favourites of 2014, but this time about fashion and random favourites of mine.
