Granola Recipe

Hi Everyone!

How are you all?
Today I'm writing a different post to what I would usually write.
It's a healthy breakfast granola/oats recipe!

I have been researching different granola recipes for the past couple of days and I have came across this one on Lilly Pebble's YouTube channel.

I recreated it and changed up some ingredients to my liking. It turned out to be SO yummy!

Ingredients:
These totally depend on you as you may add more things or less things into your recipe.
These also change depending on your portion liking.

I added:
2 cups of porridge oats
1 cup of sliced almonds
1 cup of sunflower seeds
2 tb of coconut oil
1/3 of a cup of golden syrup
2 tb of cinnamon

Method:
Add the oats, almonds and sunflower seeds into a bowl.
On low heat, in a pan melt the coconut oil, add the cinnamon and the golden syrup.
Mix until all combined and pour into the bowl with other ingredients.
Mix well and spread evenly across a baking tray.
I baked mine for 25 minutes in 180c.
Mix the oats around during baking and keep checking so they don't burn.
Let them cool and DONE!

This is a wonderful recipe. Of course you can add whatever your heart desires into your granola, it's totally up to you!
It's definitely something I will be making all the time now as it's a great healthy breakfast idea as well as a treat!

I have been eating them everyday for breakfast with some Greek yoghurt and some fruit.
I also snack on the oats later on in the day as a little desert.

Do you have any granola/oats recipes that I should give a try?
I hope you enjoyed today's post and be sure to make your own granola, trust me you'll really enjoy it!
Have a wonderful Sunday
