Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
Today's post is all about the gorgeous Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.
I got this palette for Christmas and I don't know why I didn't plan buying it before. Its one of my favourites now! It came out in 2014 and is very popular, most people already own it but if you don't then this is a review for you.
Let's start off with the packaging! It's super cute! The eye shadows come in a chocolate shaped tin which has a magnetic opening.
The palette comes with sixteen different shades that range from mattes, glitters, shimmers and satin finishes.
Each eye shadow has its own name that is printed on the packaging. I love when eye shadows have names in palettes, it makes them that little bit more special. Some of the names are: Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Triple Fudge, Creme Brulee and Gilded Ganache.
They all sound delicious!
I can't forget to mention that the whole palette smells like chocolate which is amazing! It makes the whole process of putting my eye shadow on a little longer because I sit there sniffing the palette haha but I have to!
The verity of shades is great. The palette has all the shades I would personally go for, brown, nude, gold and pink. I love all of them, some more than others but I'm sure I will use them all. It also comes with two highlighting shades which are very pretty in the inner corners of your eye or just at the brow bone, one is matte 'White Chocolate' and the other one is shimmery 'Champagne Truffle'.
The shadows are super smooth and creamy and glide on the lid very nicely.
They blend like a dream and don't crease which is great.
As you can see in the photo above, they are very pigmented and could be even more pigmented if you apply them with a slightly wet brush. I love that there are matte shades in this palette because they're great crease shades.
Over all I feel like this palette would work for many people and I'm sure I will get great use out of it.
Its a great palette with which you can create a lot of different day to night looks and its definitely worth the money (€47).
Have you tried this palette before?
